2011 Zagato TZ3 Stradale

Andrea Zagato started his Project TZ to honor the 100-year history of Alfa Romeo with Zagato bodies. The first step of the tribute was to unveil the 2010 Alfa Romeo TZ3 Corsa at the XII Villa D’Este Concours d’Elegance last April 2010. It was built specifically for Martin Kapp, a German Alfa Romeo Zagato collector. The next step is the 2011 Zagato TZ3 Stradale, shown at the Pebble Beach Concours.

Based on the 2010 Dodge Viper, the TZ3 Stradale will have the same engine, suspension, gearbox, chassis, etc. Also the same with the Dodge Viper are the dimensions and the carbon fiber body which is put over a tubular frame. The engine will be a 4.2 liter V8 90°. The Kamm-tail layout which can be found in the Corsa also made its way to the Stradale.

A similar vehicle that is comparable to this limited model is the Perana Zone which has a 6.2 liter V8 engine that outputs 440HP at 7,300rpm and accelerates to 60mph in 4 seconds.

While all of these features make it an attractive model and street legal, it will never get to the production phase. Zagato revealed before its debut at the Villa D’Este that the worldwide production of the 2011 Zagato TZ3 Stradale will be up to 9 units only.
